Heating / Cooling System Malfunction Happens always Always

Q:  The air conditioner switches to defrost, then back to air conditioning ??


A:  Does it do this switching all by itself? Or while you are driving? If while driving, the problem is most likely in the control panel.... these are self diagnosing on the Cadillac if you can get the manual and follow the procedure... Ed

Q:  Hello, I have a 1960 62 Series Dual range Auto Trans. It's slow going from 1st-2dn-3rd. Is there a certain way its supposed to be operated? What would your thoughts be on why it would be slow?? Thanks in advace. BOB


A:  It does that hesitate and slide into the next gear? They all did. Early technology sorta. Shift kit improvers can fix most of this from any larger trans shops. Ed
