Ignition System Won't Start When driving When warm
Q: It takes ten or fifteen minutes to get it started.
The fuel pump has been replaced. Starter works ok but might be getting worn out from several months of repeated cranking every time it is started.
A: Check to see if there is spark when cranking and it's not starting. If no spark - then it's probably the module in the distributor. If there is spark - then I would be checking the temperature sensor that lets the computer know. Also check the fuel pressures, just because. Ed
Q: Only successful in starting sometimes. Fuel pump and battery have been replaced; also using dry gas with every fill up.
Problems getting it started persist. Won't start at all this morning.
A: HMMMMMMMM. In addition to the last answer - If it doesn't seem to have much power at times when running, then I would check the timing chain. Ed
