Q: I just wanted to know which cyl. wires go on a HEI Dist. cap. Chev 350. Also firing order. Which point on the cap is #1 Cyl. so I can time my Dist.
A: Firing order on chevy 350 engine 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. clockwise. Cylinder#1, driver's side front plug.
If your dist. is installed correctly, #1 spark plug wire will connect to the cap point to the front, slightly to the left.(driver's side)
