Electrical / Lighting Systems Malfunction When stopped Not applicable
Q: Regularly, but not always, when I come to a complete stop, my car has complete electrical shutdown.
Sometimes it comes right back on. And sometimes it takes a day, but when it does come back on, the clock is reset to 100 and all radio stations presets are erased.
I know you can help me with this!
A: A broken plate in the battery shifts and shorts out internally........
The next thing to check would be ground to body.... jumper cables from negative post to good ground and a test drive will confirm this.......
My guess is the broken plate...... Ed
