Q: It smokes when u let off the gas going down hills, when its warmed up. A mechanic here told me that it is a valve steam seal. I just want another suggestion.
A: If it also smokes when you first start it in the morning, and also when you start off after sitting and idling for a few minutes, yes that would be valve stems.....
If only on decelleration, I would make sure the pcv valve is not plugged...... Ed
