Q: The climate control goes wacky. It will blow hot air then cold and shut off on its own. When this happens the speedometer, rpm and all the gauges go haywire. The dealer says the ignition switch is bad and costs $700.00.

Get a second opinion! Why do they say the ignition switch is bad? Ignition switch is $700- wow! Try shopping around if that is indeed the problem.

Q: what is wrong when the air conditioner is blowing hot air? Also, the radiator fan and the compressor do not operate when the ac is on. I changed the a/c clutch relay.
A: Sounds like the refrigerant level is low... a pressure check will tell you.... Ed
