Chassis / Suspension & Steering Malfunction When driving When warm
Q: This dodge 350 diesel dually is used to occasionally tow an 18' 4000# TT. The ride is killing this old man. It has 10 leaf springs and air bag. How can I make the ride easier? After 200 miles of bouncing and jiggling over every crack in the road, I'm dead. Is it possible to remove leaves for an easier ride?
Ralph
A: Perhaps a set of soft ride springs that have an overload feature that stiffens up after the first inch of travel. Ed
Q: I hear knocking noise coming from either the right side valve cover or exhaust, not sure. The other problem is the gas pedal is hard to press and vehicle moves at about 5 mph with high rpm's.
