Q:  How do I open the hood. Where is the hood release located on the hood?

A:  I have A 74 charger, Which is almost the same as your Coronet. B-body, and the same owner's manual. I open mine by reaching directly behind the core support and pulling the latch assembly towards the passenger side. It is directly in the middle of the hood. Sometimes, they put a small notch (hole) in the grill. There should be a trigger button there. If not, it was made with a cable, pulled from the driver's seat. Good luck.

Q:  My evap core was missing. Does it get installed in the same box with the heater core? If so, does the evap core have a trough that it sits in to direct condensate through the drain tubes. (The heater core box has vents in the bottom along with holes for the drain) Thanks.

A:  You are correct that the evap goes in with the heater core.As for the trough question, it should come with the evap core if it doesnt then there likely isnt one.
