Q: It wont idle correctly. It surges and I can hear an intermittent miss in the exhaust. When cold the engine runs fine. When the choke opens it starts to surge and miss and you have to crack the throttle to keep it from stalling. Once the engine warms up it idles but still with the surge and miss.
A: Definete carb problems...also check for vacuum leaks. Ed
