Electrical / Lighting Systems Malfunction When driving When warm
Q: I just bought a used car and the odometer is not working it does nothing and the trip meter also doesn't move. Was it disconnected or do you think it's electrical. If it was disconnected, how do I reconnect it?
A: Check and if everything is hooked up, replace the speedo head unit. Ed
Fuel System Malfunction When stopped Not applicable
Q: car quit at stop light. carb is dry, no fuel squirting from jet into carb when accelerator pumped. stopped as if car was shut off. i believe the fuel pump is kaput....
A: Fuel pump may have quit . Try replacing the fuel filter first . Also , make sure that the wiring to the pump is alright , provided that the pump is an electric one .
