Brake System Malfunction When driving When warm

Q:  How do I bleed the air out of my brake system? Is it safe to do for myself?

A:  If you understand the basics of bleeding the system... yes, it is safe... Start with the furthest rear wheel from the driver seat... Then other rear wheel, then passenger front, then the driver front last.... good luck...

Drive Train / Driveline Chugging When driving Always

Q:  The Transmission will not shift from 2nd into 3rd gear. As well, it is hard going into Drive or Reverse from Park. And it is also making a grinding noise.

A:  If the fluid levels are okay, then I would be looking for a good used transmission or spending a whole lot of money for a rebuild. Try the Blue "Buyers" Button under "Auto Recyclers" to the left of this screen. There might be a good used transmission available. Ed

All Part Groups Chugging When driving When warm

Q:  We have a chugging or fluttering when the van is warm/hot and between 0-40mph.

We've replaced the pick-up coil, wires, plugs, computer, and we tried some transmission additive and changed the transmission filter, and that seemed to help for approx. 2 weeks.
This transmission was rebuilt about 45,000 miles ago.

Is there any way that this could be a transmission problem? Do you think that it could be fixed without re-rebuilding the transmission? Thank you for your help.

A:  If you keep it in 2nd gear instead of letting it upshift, does it change the symptoms???? Ed
