Drive Train / Driveline Malfunction When driving Always
Q: The transmission won't shift gears until you "overrev" the engine. Do I have any hope on this?
A: Yes..actually the automatic relies on both vaccuum signal and gas pedal position for indications as to how and when to shift.
If the "kick" down linkage is unhooked or faulty at the carburator, or a vaccuum leak is happening, this will delay the shift points....Ed

Q: The choke heater assembly on this project car has been plugged-off at the end. I know that it screws into the choke, but where or what does the other end connect to?
Also, the auto-choke has been rigged to a manual. What type of choke was this (i.e. electric) originally?
A: The other end will connect to the intake just below the carb on the 302. It was electric with the heat tube.
