Q: Just wanted to know any specific engine i can throw in say a 302 boss is compatable do i need the same year as the vehicle or will any year work?
A: I've been told 302 into the mid 80's will work.
I would be sure to find out about engine mount
stuff, never done a swap myself.
For the money i'd use a late model 5 litre more bang for the buck and a fairly straight forward swap after changing to carbeuration

I had a 65 Falcon and tried to drop a 289 into it in 1970. I had problems with the shock tunnels not clearing . I abandoned the project. I looked into one of the 260's that some came with but never followed thru.

Q: I have a 1964 Falcon convertible. One of the hydraulic cylinder lifts went out. Can you tell me what other lift will fit my car and where I might get one?
I picked up a set at a classic swap meet that was supposed to fit but the cylinder ended up being about 1/2 inch too long and it wont allow the top to retract all the way. Thanks
