Q:  I'm looking for a ring gear for my King Cobra. Nobody seems to have one anywhere. I have a 4-speed standard transmission. Also, I was wondering if that year of Mustang II uses a special kind of starter. I'm hoping that you guys carry these two items. I really need them. Thanks, Ray

A:  Ray..... you have to locate through the parts sections of All-Parts..... Ed

Q:  Just picked up a little Notchback 1976 Mustang II with a blown (broken) 4 banger for basically nothing. I have a just about finished a little 347 (stroked 302) for the Drag strip and I just realized that My dump Sump oil pan my not work?

My question is To drop basically the 302 block into this car will I need a different oil pan.
I'm guessing yes. I just got the car and haven't even had time to climb under it and look for myself. I'm wondering if I need to look into a Front Sump 302 truck pan or if that will work?

The block came out of an 85 SSC coupe.
(carb, roller, standard)

Thanks For your time

85 SSC 302 slightly over stock

A:  Damn! A Mustang II with a beefed 302! I have no idea if the pan'll fit, but the car will shit & get! Are you going to try for a sleeper look? I'd love to see the faces on some folks gettin' dusted by a Mustang II! We used to laugh at those cars. Hell, we shoulda grabbed one. Good luck!
