Q: I drive a 1992 Ford Topaz, a friend was installing a new stereo for me and he touched the accessories wire to the ground wire, all the lights in my car went out, just the interior lights, I have gone through and checked all the fuses but I can't find the problem, if you can help I would be thankful

A: Look at the fusible links. They are on the solenoid switch(on the fender near the battery)It is a round, black switch which the + cable of the battery goes to.On that terminal, you will find several small wires with tags on then. Those are the fuse links. One of them is burned. An easy way to tell is to tug on them gentley, but firmly,if one appears stretchy, the inside is burned through.if you aren't sure, use a test lamp.fuse links are about $3
