Fuel System Won't Start Not applicable Not applicable

Q:  While getting ready to turn a corner the yukon stalled and would not start again. It starts if we put a little bit of gas in the throttle body but of course just dies again. There is spark and fuel going through the fuel lines to and from the engine. What else do we need to check for?


A:  you need at least 53psi.fuel press to open popet valves in the inj.assy. test fuel press.with good press.gage. if lower than 53psi.you need a pump.

Q:  About the headlight adjustment - there are 2 torx screws on / near each headlight and 2 3/16 topped things sticking out upward on each headlight. I tried moving all of them and the dang headlights never move. I have tried to lubricate the whole deal also - and no luck. Thanks!


A:  I'm wracking my brain trying to recall this particular vehicle, with 53,000 different cars out there....

Headlight adjustment one of those things a person in the trade does automatically....

All headlights have to have 2 adjusters each.... one side to side, and one up and down.....

Some of the new ones adjust from the top.... hood open and almost a stud sticking up instead of a screw..... Ed
