A: Is the exhaust restricted? Like a plugged catalytic convertor? Ed
Q: I already know I have a bad rear wheel cylinder but I'm having trouble getting to it to replace it. I can't get the wheel drum off to get to the bad wheel cylinder.
A: The center of the drum is open and it is actually a part of the axle that you see there in the middle. Try to tap on that center piece with a good 5 pound hammer while someone tries to pull off the drum using a kind of side to side motion. As long as you don't hit the lug studs the drum will be ok after some banging. Also make sure that your parking brakes aren't on.
