Ignition System Chugging When accelerating When warm

Q:  After 1/2 hour of driving missing starts when accelerating, continues to get worse until it only runs smoth when on level, even slight acceleration causes sever missing. (could possibly be fuel starvation but pretty sure it is missing. Changed plugs, wires, rotor, dist cap, coil, tried disconnecting O2 sensor, catillic converter is already removed (gray market euro car originally imported into CA), full acceleration before the missing starts so I assume fuel is not the problem. Also it doesn't seem to start until well after the engine is fully warm, takes at least 1/2 hour to act up. I am about to change the ignition control box and capasitor wire next. Suggestions please. david@dolata.org

A:  Try a new fuel filter first, it,s a maintenance item anyway. Could be starving for fuel after a few miles.
