Q: My car will not go into gear and I was wondering what are the problems it could be, I was told to bleed the clutch, but a new clutch, change the transmission, etc..What is your solution
A: Bleed or replace the slave cylinder which disengages the clutch,if the clutch is moving then the cylinder is ok but the clutch probably is bad
A: It could be any of the following: Coolant level in radiator; thermostat stuck; head gasket leaking; water pump not working; front air dam broken; radiator plugged; timing retarded.
If you have more info. I can get closer for you. Ed
Q: I am trying to place the timing belt on and it has not been working. I am confused the two upper pulleys have two different markings on them I am not sure how they go. When looking at the two pulleys from the side I set the back pulley on the I and the other pulley on the E but both of the pulleys have I and E and two other different slashes. which ones are supposed to line up?
A: You need to locate the picture from the manual. If I explain wrong or you misunderstand, you will get bent valves and rebuild cylinder head. Ed
