Q: At about 45-55 mph, there seems to be a dead miss in the engine, however the rpms do not drop.
If you accelerate hard, the problem seems to lessen.
The check engine light came on.It has had the mass air sensor replaced recently.
A: the engine you have is a ohv 4.6 which has had a history of plug wire problems which fouls out plugs,replace plugs and plug wires
