Q: What is a car's splash panel? What does it do? Where is it located? Is it visible? Is it imortant?
I ask because I'm considering buying a 3000GT online.... and the owner says there is a dent in the splash panel.
Is this a critical problem? Would you give me a rough estimate on repairing or replacing a spash panel? Thanks. Joe

Q: 1993 3000GT emits white smoke when driving occasionally, whether it is hot or running cold. This is not a constant problem, but it emits quite a bit of smoke. What is the problem? Is it the transmission?
A: No, I wouldnt worry about it because almost all 3000 gt's I see blow out some white smoke. If anything the white smoke would mean that it was burning antifreeze but my friend just had his engine redone from top to bottom and it still blows out some white smoke. The white smoke could also mean condensation, thats all.
