Electrical / Lighting Systems Won't Start When starting Always
Q: My car barely started after a hesitation in the ignition, then when I drove somewhere it started "hiccuping" and the radio was cutting out when I braked. When I turned the car off, I tried to turn it on again and it started but didn't turn over. I got a jump and the car turned over, but slowly the electrical died down and down and down. I tried to drive it, but it lost power and the lights all went dim and that was it.
A: The charging system needs repair. Have the alternator output checked. Ed
