Electrical / Lighting Systems Malfunction Happens always Always
Q: Check engine light is on, and the transmission will only go into second and third, and the key will not come out of the ignition. HELP.
Vehicle has 46,000 miles on it, and all these things have happened in the last week.
A: If the vehicle will not shift into park, the key will not come out. Problem in the linkage to the transmission first and then check for codes to indicate which system for the check engine light. Ed
