Q: I own a intrigue GL with a drivers side power leather seat. Is it possible to make it a heated seat?
A: If this car had that as an option available, yes you will already have the wiring, etc. in place....
If not, it is a very big job and big dollars too..... Ed
Q: I purchased a new car and I have 3 paint spots that are in the paint. The dealer tried to compound and buff them out and had no luck. Next, the car was sent to a body shop. They tried to sand and compound, no luck. The dealer told me I would have to leave the car for a week at the body shop and they would have to prep and repaint those spots on the hood, trunk and door. The service manager says it's not a good idea because it's hard to match the paint and blend in all the parts. It's under warranty and the book says they will repair at no cost to me. What is your opinion on this? JIM
A: Jim, seeing how the paint is still new, there should be no problem with paint matching. And if it's under warranty go for it. good luck.
Q: The driver's side mirror has been broken. The
outside casing and the mirror itside are broken
but the motor is intact. Can I purchase just the casing and the mirror and if so how hard is it to repair and where can I go to get the instructions for this.
A: Local library for instructions. Wrecking yard for the complete unit(cheaper). Ed
