All Part Groups Making Noise Not applicable Not applicable

Q:  I had just replaced my waterpump in my Fiero GT and I started it up and there is a high pitched squealing noise (really noisy! I assume it might be the belt that I loosened to get the old pump off, but I can't get the belt tight enough or something! It wasn't squealing before I took of the belt. I don't think its rubbing with anything. Any help will be most appreciated.

A:  Try some wheel bearing grease on it. Ed

Engine Other Not applicable Always

Q:  I have an 85 Fiero GT with a replacement 86 engine w/30K miles from another car. The brain box was not replaced with the swap. When starting the car the idle is very high and exhaust manifolds glow cherry red. Have changed MAP, O2 sensor, water temp sensor, fuel pressure regulator, EGR and fuel pump. Still have the same problem. Please help. Thank You.

A:  Get online and find the Fiero owners club, they will be a great help,Sounds like the computer needs a recalabration, you can find that info out on line also,I believe the car went out of production for that reason and was causing engine fires,GOOD LUCK
