Q: I noticed a small (looks like a leak) coming from the back of the Master Cylinder running down the power booster. I had this trouble with a previous M. C. so I replaced it. Do you think I bought a bad Master Cylinder, or might there be another problem? Also my fluid level is only down on the front reservior. I hope this is enough info. thanks for any help and/or tips & information JOHN
A: IT IS POSSIBLE YOU GOT A BAD MASTER CYLINDER OR THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS NOT BLED OFF ENOUGH.Clean off the master with brake cleaner and loosen the hold down bolts look behind see if there is fluid behind the master. If the front of the master's level continues to drop serch for a leak,fluids going somewhere.
