Electrical / Lighting Systems Malfunction Happens always Always
Q: The power door lock switch locks all doors but usually does not unlock any doors.
Sometimes if I press it 10 or 11 times it will start to work and unlocks for a few times, then stops working again.
Do I need a new switch or can it be cleaned, fixed? Thank you.
A: If the other door switches always work, both ways, the problem is the driver door switch......
Clean the switch, or replace it if cleaning doesn't work.... Ed
Chassis / Suspension & Steering Vibration When driving Always
Q: It vibrates alot going up to 45 miles an hour, after 45 miles you can't really feel that much, it also pulls to the passenger side, an alignment was done and the tire pressure is ok.
A: Check the power train first, and then wheel balance and tire pattern...
Rough tires will shake a lot.... Ed

Q: Hello, I have a 1970 Toyota Land Cruser FJ40.
The head lights will not work but the hazards, flashers, wipers and all of the other parts that run off of the battery operate fine.
I replaced all of the fuses but still had no luck.
Do you think this is a problem with the switch or wiring?

A: Shane....... check for power to the switch..... If there is, check for power out of the switch....
Power in but not out.. replace switch....
If no power to the switch... trace and find out why.... Ed
