Q: Ever since we fixed the car to pass smog, we have been smelling a sweet smell (like a normal exhaust fume) creeping somehow into the seating compartment. This is usually annoying, so we open the Windows. But, during those days when the air is cold or the surroundings are damp, we can't do much, but suffer. Could it be leaking through the vents that work as a heater? OR, could it be more related to a hole in the chassis somewhere? I looked around and couldn't find a hole (unless it was minutely small!).
