A: Do you already have an FM radio?
If so, the absoulute best CD upgrade available (w/o having to dismantle your whole interior!) is from Sony. It's an RF transmission control (remote control) package and it uses your existing antenna to supply the digital sound signal to your radio. All you have to do is tune to a set frequency on your radio, hit play and presto.
The model number is CDX-505RF and it costs ~$270, it comes with a 6 disc changer, a wired remote, the RF remote and all of the necessary wiring. I installed one in my wife's Galant in ~ 3 hours.... it's the best thing since ice cream!
Ignition System Malfunction When starting When warm
Q: no sounds just won't start on hot days changed the starter but still wouldnt start in heat think it might be rellay what do you think thanks?
A: COULD BE A PROBLEM IN THE STARTER SELONOID CHECK YOUR MANUAL OR WITH YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP TO SEE IF A HEAT SHEILD CAME ON THE STARTER SOMETIMES PEOPLE LEAVE IT OFF AND LATER DOWN THE ROAD WHAT YOU DESRIBED HAPPENS.
Engine Malfunction Happens sometimes Not applicable
Q: When driving, occassionally starts to blow black smoke out exhaust as well as loss of power and bucking/surging. Cleaned air filter, replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
A: Needs a new head gasket or it has a cracked block.
