Q: Hello,
I'm looking for some help with my 83 Scirocco, I start my car up and run it to my work which is about 15 mins away, as I drive approx. 15-20 miles after i have started it, the car stalls out at stop lights or whenever i push in the clutch to stop, it completely shuts down, then i turn it back on, and i get approx. 3 stops or less later and it dies on me again. I just put a new fuel pump in it, but yet it still dies, and it has always "bucked" ever since i bought it, and it happens when i push down the gas, I really would like any information you could give to me. I believe it might be my "Control pressure regulator", my "thermo-time switch", or just some air leaks, but no can figure it out. Please help me if u can. Thanks
A: hmm, have you checked the fuel pressure? maybe you need to "turn" up the injection so it gives you more fuel.....
