Started car, then it started making a clicking noise and the dashboard lights started flashing. Now it won't start at all.

First look at battery connections.Then try starting with a boost.If charging the battery with a battery charger does not work, you might require a battery. Batteries commonly last 5-7 years, how old is yours? This is the time of the year that they are stressed the most. Midas once offered a battery/charging test fo free a while ago, and still might.If you do boost it to start, do not use accessories till you get to shop.
