Is there a step by step process to replace door glass in my 57 Chevy 4 door sedan Bel Air?

Hello, If you are looking for published shop proceedures it may be worth the effort to contact a classic car club. They seem to come up with the resources to do these things during restoration proceedures.

Are there any auto shops in your area that specialize in classic car restoration? Have you inquired at a glass shop to see if they can give you some tips? They can advise how the glass is retained in the sash. The older cars glued the glass in the sash and the sash would be bolted or rivited to the manual window regulator.

I'll try to get more specific help for you. I wanted to give you some ideas that first come to mind.
