1998 Ford Econoline Heating / Cooling System Malfunction Happens always Always

The heater door will not flip from cool to heat. For a month it would not frip from heat to cool, then one day it filp & now it won't change back.

try takeing the box apart and lubricate all the moving and touching parts and if it is moved by a cable lubricate that, some of them are controled by vaccum, if it is vaccum controled check for vaccum leaks.

How do you get to the box and what does it look like?
Is there a replaceable part if the lubercation does not work?

the box should be under the passengerside dash and im not sure what is replacible but the whole box might be replacable

The heater/A/C blower has just stopped working. The 60A fuse in the power distribution box is OK and the cigarette lighter works. If it's the motor, where is it located, or is there a hidden fuse or connector somewhere else? Thanks, I appreciate your assistance regards Eric Keene

Hello, The blower motor is under the hood on the passenger side and mounts horizontally onto the HVAC case.

There is no hidden fuse but you may find a fuse in the dash fuse panel for the blower. Do you have a legend on the fuse panel?
