had a 289 windsor 5 bolt bellhousing replaced it with 302 windsor with 6 bolt bellhousing .also fitted 50 oz flex plate kept same convertor & trans &sandwich plate .it apears balance weight is hitting sandwich .is solution cutting centre out of plate or what ?

Is it only hitting the plate? If it is you could cut a slot as a last resort, reshaping would be a much better and safer alternative.
I Installed A Holley With Vacuum Secondaries. When The Engine Comes up To Operating Temp. It Starts Squirreling Near The Back Of The Carib I Have Excused Lots Ways To Repair This
1)I Have Changed Gaskets From MR.Gasket to Base Gasket Form Holley INC. Still Squires.
2) Changed Caribs Iron Raised Base To Flatt Bottom- Did Not Help
3) Please Help It Did Not Do This be For

Starts squirreling? Please further describe the sound. Is the sound in the carb or the engine? Is it a ticking, popping, swirling, hissing, or etc sound?

The Sound Is Very Apparent . It Is In the Back Of The Carburetor
It Sounds Like A Vacuum Leak A Real Screamer.
This Does Not Happen Till It Gets Hot, The Thermostat Opens.
It Is Quite Till Than, Runs Good Till Than.

Check for vacuum leaks. Also block off the back of the carb to make sure air is not being sucked through here. Perhaps the secondaries are being applied when they shouldn't be. Is this a new carburetor?
