Truck was running fine, parked in driveway and shut off. 10 minutes later went to start and it turns over strong but never fires. Also, the check engine light is on. Has 109K miles, but has run very well, never had problem starting until now.

Hello, Check your fuses. The injectors may not be getting power or the fuel pump may have quit.
Can you test the fuel pressure?

Hi Roger,
Thanks for the reply. I can check the fuses, but I'm not sure how to check the fuel pressure. You don't think this could be the coil module? Also, would the check engine light come on normally with these types of problems?
Thanks, Steve

There is a valve on the fuel rail to the injectors. Looks a lot like a tire valve, often has a black plastic cap on it. This is the place to connect the fuel gauge if you have access to one.
Your check engine light should be on until the engine starts. Tells you the bulb is good.
My first thought was fuel and we have to confirm if there is spark. Can you verify there is spark? If checking for spark is cumbersome for you a shot of starting fluid down the intake is easy. If the engine starts and runs until the fluid is consumed that tells you there is spark!
