1995 Mercedes-Benz 600SL Fuel System Leaking When starting When cold

After leaving the car a few days in succession overnight, when starting there is a steady, strong flow of petrol coming out from beneath the injection system cover. Such a strong flow it's worrying ... but then it stops after 5-15 minutes, depending on how many days the car has been left without driving. help appreciated!!

anytime you have a petroleum leak especially of that nature I would advise you not to attempt to start the car
at this point is is a potential time bomb you need to remove the cover and inspect the system to find out where the leak is comming from and terminate it ,it could be a busted line or componet or if you cannot work on it yourself have it towed to a place where it can be serviced
