1992 Mitsubishi Expo Engine  When repairing When cold

New User Asked -
ON MY 2.4 engine I can't get the dip stick tube to come loose. I removed the one 14MM bolt that holds the brace, and the tube rotates freely for the half turn that there's room to twist it. Is there something else holding it?

If the brace is free the dipstick should pull out, this doesn't mean it will come out easily.

Do you have the oil pan removed? What is the nature of the repair(s) being performed?

I'm mounting an aftermarket alternator and must reroute the tube. Guess I have to use some sort of leverage because I can't do it with my hands.
My oil pan is still on. I want to leave it on so I won't have to replace the gasket. Thanks.
