leaks at the front seal. Seal has been replaced 3 times by mechanics and still leaks immediately each time.

Has it been confirmed the leak is indeed from the seal? I assume this is the front crankshaft seal... they need to check for burrs at the mating surface of the seal and crank as well as use a dial indicator to see if there is too much movement in the crank. Unless it on sealing on the outside perimeter of the seal. Do you know where the seal is being breached?
If you want a quick fix that may or may not work, you could try coating the seal area with Right Stuff gasket maker. This will often seal problem areas but can be very difficult to remove.

Do not want a quick fix. The crank has already been checked for burrs and run-out.Inner cover has been checked for cracks. Started engine with outer cover removed and got a visual on the leak to confirm that the leak is between the seal and the crank at the rubber sealing surface. Have verified that it is the correct seal each time.

I assume there is not excessive crankcase pressure blowing the seal.
Is this an aftermarket seal or Dealer part? Is the seal leaking faster than the seal that was replaced?
The quick fix would not work between the seal and crank.

Hello,
Please let us know if this was a seal from the dealer or not? Problems with aftermarket parts are not uncommon, especially when updated parts are issued.

Yes. It was a dealer part twice and all leaked about the same. The parts looked and measured the same each time. I am going to change the housing, complete with the pump, new seal and gasket. And then I am going to flush the engine and see if this helps. So far nothing else has.

Without checking for codes, I would hazard a guess that the ignition module or dist failed, especially if tune was not done for awhile.Best option is check for codes with a scanner/

Is sounds like you may have a high pressure restriction or a pressure switch gone bad.Gauges need to be hitched up to determine. With a normal charge(factory specs)if the high side seems to be blowing off the gauge(more than 350psi)your problem may lie here. The pressure switch is the shut down to prevent damage to the system.By bypassing this switch, the system will run and give you a true reading on the gauges. If the gauges read normal(28-32psi low,250-300psi high)the switch is bad.If the high side jumps above suggested psi disconnect the bypass immediately. If with a The full charge and the bypass intact, the gauges read below norm, you may have a compressor that is getting tired or gone bad.Understand that these systems are very fragile to an over or undercharge. If you are using an "over-the-counter charging kit" without the use of gauges, you may be causing more harm than worth.
Good Luck,
Paul
