Front power windows drag and requires waiting a few minutes before they will close

It sounds like you can have two problems one is that the lever mechanism is loose due to age and usage, this can also be because the motor on the window is burning out and that will need to be replaced
the only way to tell the extent of the window problem would be to remove the door panel and access it
