Sometimes the throttle position sensor has slotted mounts and you just loosen the screws a little and the throttle position sensor (on side of throttle body, opposite of the linkage) is turned slightly.
Some have a small hidden screw under the linkage stop.
Usually I adjust when hooked up to a Scanner to tell the RPMs, a tach might do in a pinch.
1992 Plymouth Sundance Duster Ignition System Won't Start When stopped Always
New User Asked -
When I turn the key the engine turns over but won't fire. I found and replaced the engine computer module because I had no spark and my fuel flow shut down to the fuel distributor. I checked all fuses and the coil, also the distributor module. The car still won't run. Any ideas? Thanks

You could check the timing to see if it is off, or if you have spark check to see if it is getting fuel. It might be your fuel pump or a problem with the fuel line.

It is not the fuel pump, timing or the coil. The Hall effects sensor checks good also. Could it be the starter relay since the engine still turns, or possibly a fusible link? Also I have no computor errors, just a code 55 (end of test).

Try checking to see what your compression is. If the compression is low or you don't have any, that would also cause your engine not to start. If the compression is low or you don't have any check your valves to see if any are broken or bent.
