1986 Porsche 944 Engine Vibration Happens always Always

Hi...I'm running the engine without the balancer system. I bought the car and it was discovered while a mechanic was responding to my complaint about the car vibrating. The vibration isn't annoying...I can certainly live with it but can my motor survive, long-term? How dangerous is this for the engine? Thanks!

If the engine is vibrating it is unlikely for the engine to survive long-term.
