1996 Toyota T100 All Part Groups Making Noise When accelerating Always

noisy acceleration under load not in neutal not coasting. sounds like BB's in a sauce pan.

Any check engine light while the engine is running? If there is visit Advance Auto or Autozone and they'll pull the trouble codes from you truck computer (no charge). Let me know which codes are found.

It sounds like the engine 'pinging', this is cause by a lean fuel mixture. If the fuel filter is overdue for changing- change it now. Also remove the mass airflow sensor (MAF) and spray the sensor elements (somewhat fragile- don't scrub) with spray electrical cleaner.

I checked for codes. There were none registered. Noisy acceleration only happens under load, not in Park or revving in Neutral.

Try cleaning the maf sensor filament with spray electrical cleaner. Then disconnect the negative battery cable for fifteen minutes. Reconnect and see if this helps the problem.

1994 Toyota T100 Ignition System   

I have a 1994 Toyota T100, V6, automatic pickup. I drove the truck to a location, shut the truck off, and it would no longer start. I have replaced the starter which had over 70,000 miles on it. No luck. I am getting power to the ignition switch, but nothing to the starter. Is this typically an ignition switch issue, or (and hopefully not) a neutral start switch issue.

I've ordered a new ignition switch, which I am replacing tonight. Do you have any installation instructions for this?
